About Me

Ever since I can remember, I have loved history. It began in my childhood with the Titanic and the Tudors, turning into a passion for European history in my high school years, and growing into a deep and passionate love for WWII, French history, and Napoleon.

But I didn’t really discover my love for fashion until I lived in Paris and London. Nothing can compare to the world of culture, fashion, history, and street style I was thrust into by two of the greatest fashion capitals in the world.

I spent my undergrad at Lake Forest College studying history and French, while spending a semester abroad in Paris, bien sûr. After graduating, I moved back to Paris again to spend a year teaching English to French high school students. Once I finished my year as a Teaching Assistant, I decided to further my history education by pursuing a Master’s in Modern History at King’s College London.

While at King’s, I had the chance to combine my two favorite obsessions and delve into the world of fashion history. And this is where Cyclicity’s origin story begins.
